1. Peter Gabriel’s So album is straight-up infectious glee. Really, how powerful is “Solsberry Hill” in this parody trailer for The Shining? Pretty dang.

Cap off the weekend in a cheerful bang and watch Dan Neustadt cover the record in part of his Off The Record series. It all goes down tomorrow evening in The Gallery at LPR.

  2. Cat Power’s 2006 The Greatest is (excuse the pun) pretty great. Our opinion isn’t terribly unique in that, as evidenced by its inclusion in Dan Neustadt’s series Off The Record. Come catch Neustadt and some of his buddies cover The Greatest in The Gallery at LPR tomorrow and make Monday suck that much less.

  3. Sunday nights are usually spent reflecting how you wasted your weekend. Instead of marinating in such a bummer bubble, why not catch Dan Neustadt and pals cover Sting’s cerebral The Dream Of The Blue Turtles? Neustadt does just that tomorrow night in our gallery in part of the Off The Record series.

The show starts at nine. Mosey o’er to our website to learn more.

  5. Tonight Dan Neustadt & co.’s Off the Record does The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.” It’s sure to be better than the film, or even the trailer above.

  6. This Sunday Dan Neustadt and crew’s weekly shindig (get it? you will) Off the Record takes on The Shins’ (there it is) modern classic Chutes Too Narrow. Remember this video for “So Says I”? I remember this video being everywhere in 2003. I loved this video. Looking forward to seeing Neustadt & co. do this album.

  7. Dan Neustadt and friends are back in the gallery tonight for another Off the Record. This time they’re playing the entirety of The Police’s Synchronicity.

  8. Last week Dan Neustadt & co had a killer night playing GNR’s Appetite for Destruction, and this week they’re going get a little funkier when they play Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black all the way through.

  9. No. Guns N’ Roses will not be playing The Gallery at LPR tonight, but Dan Neustadt and friends will be doing  Appetite for Destruction from start to finish in the gallery. Last week they did The Wall, and killed it. Really. They can kind of do anything. This is going to be a damn good one.

  10. Dan Neustadt is back in The Gallery at LPR tonight. He and his band will be playing the entirety of Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Really. “Comfortably Numb” solo? Probably.
