The good people of So Percussion are doing a new project with Grey McMurray and lots of guest artists, and they’ve got a Kickstarter page to get it going. Do it. 

Tonight’s going to be a good one. So Percussion is bringing together a ton of great percussion ensembles for a night of awesome(ness). tonight will feature performances from Nexus Percussion Ensemble, So Percussion, Meehan/Perkins Duo, Mantra Percussion, Akros Percussion Collective, Tigue, and Siren. That’s a lot of percussion. To top it off, the night is going to end with an “all play” on Terry Riley’s “In C.” Sit down, grab a beer, make some popcorn, and hit play on the player below starting at 8pm, or head over to our Concert Window channel to watch the show and join in the live chat.

This is a really great performance from So Percussion performing on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series. They’ll be at LPR tonight with a handful of other percussion ensembles with an eclectic program that ends in an “all play” on Terry Riley’s “In C.”
